Become a wildlife carer/rescuer

help-wildlife-500x216

Here at RRANA we are always looking for dedicated and committed carers and rescuers to join our team. We will provide you with adequate training in order to ensure that you are competent and confident in dealing with rescued and injured wildlife.

Not everyone is in a suitable position to be able to care for animals in their own home; factors include work commitments or family commitments, or financial restrictions may not allow you to get fully involved.

Don't let any of these things stop you from becoming involved with our group. There maybe other ways you can volunteer your help with RRANA.

The National Parks and Wildlife Service has prepared a short induction video to assist groups with training for new and prospective volunteers.

The video acknowledges the important work of wildlife rehabilitators and contains key messages relevant to working cooperatively within groups and complying with our codes of practice.

The video is an initiative of our volunteer wildlife rehabilitation strategy and can be viewed by following the link below to the environment.nsw.gov.au website.
